Keep Toys at Home….PLEASE!

Dear kinder parents,

Can you please remind your kinders to keep ALL toys (matchbox cars, balls, stuffed animals, small trinkets, etc) at home?¬† This may mean checking backpacks and pockets before leaving in the morning. ūüôā

This is interrupting their learning as they want to show their friends their objects or play with them during learning time. ¬†They are also wanting to “give” their friends some of their toys and later asking for them back. As you can imagine, tears and heated conversations arise. ¬†

I have told¬†the kinders that they may not give any toys to friends at school. ¬†This needs to occur at home with parent’s permission. ¬†I have also told them that home toys are not allowed at school. ¬†They may ONLY take an object/toy to school if they are the Kool Kinder or if show & tell is scheduled.

Thank you so much for your support at home.  If you have any questions, please contact me by email (kbohl@hpseagles.net) or phone.   Mrs. Bohl

Please keep TOYS at home!

This is a friendly reminder that ALL toys (baseball cards, outside balls…footballs, soccer balls, shopkins, etc) are to be kept at home. Many kinders are bringing these items to school, often without parent permission.¬†

We have outside balls designated for our playground that the kinders can use during our recess time.  Our classroom has many toys/materials to explore and use during our choice time.

You can find this request and more under INFORMATION ABOUT KINDERGARTEN posting at the top of our class blog.

Thank you so much.    Mrs. Bohl
