Welcome to Kindergarten! School starts in August and the flyers for school supply sales will soon be coming out. Back-to-school sales are a great way to collect most of the supplies your kinder will be using in kindergarten this year.
Here are a few items that will be useful for your kinder as they begin kindergarten:(Pencils, paper, scissors, crayons, and other necessary supplies for learning will be provided).
SCHOOL SUPPLIES: We will be sharing these supplies. Please do not label these items.
*2-4 LARGE glue sticks
PERSONAL SUPPLIES: Please label with your kinder’s name on these items.
*A backpack (labeled with name) large enough to fit a daily folder,shoes in the winter, snow pants, lunch box, etc.
* A lunch box and water bottle (labeled with name) if you are having a home lunch.
* Inside athletic shoes, non-marking soles preferred, (labeled with name) that stay inside your cubby…they don’t need to be new, just clean
*Spiral notebook—wide ruled 70 count (labeled with name)
WISH LIST SUPPLIES: I am also sharing a “wish list” of supplies that we will use in our classroom, (if you are able to donate to our room).
*Box of Kleenex (tissues)
*Box of Band-Aids
*Graham crackers (for when kinders forget their snack)
*Standard Sheet Protectors (can be found at the dollar store sometimes)
*D0-A-DOT stampers (these can be tricky to find…best luck at Michaels or Walmart)
*Play-dough Store bought or use this easy recipe. Click here for recipe.
*A box of plastic zip-lock baggies — snack, sandwich, gallon
*Large & Small white (cheap Dollar store kind) paper plates
*Package of 8-10 thick or thin washable markers
*Package of Expo/dry erase markers (broad tip)- any color- package of 3 or more
